Cloud Ops Engineer
Reporting into the head of Cloud Engineering, this role will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining secure and scalable cloud services and infrastructure to support Skillwell’s product offering.

Responsibilities

Work with your team and others department stakeholder to deploy and maintain a robust redundant infrastructure, capable of scaling with the demand

Monitor, troubleshoot and import infrastructure and ensure service level objectives are met

Continuously improve environments through automation and infrastructure-as-code

Ability to work independently and self-directed, as well as, within a team environment
Requirements
Required:
2-3 years of experience in:
-
Hands-on experience in 1 or more languages (Python, Bash, etc.)

Experience working hands-on with AWS (IAM, EC2, VPC, Networking, etc)
-
Hands-on experience implementing automation & CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins,code pipeline and code build, etc)

Hands-on experience with Windows & Linux Server administration
Desirable:
-
Ability to approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, and innovation.

Strong Knowledge of Azure or AWS with associated certifications.

DevOps experience

Advanced Windows Server administration and Failover Clustering.

Apache Tomcat administration
-
MSSQL management in a clustering environment.
