Accounting Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support our finance operations in Dublin. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting the growth of our Edtech solution.

Responsibilities

As an Accounting Specialist:

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.

• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

• Manage Brex, the expense management system, ensuring accurate tracking and reconciliation of employee expenses.

• Manage Brex and Rillet, our expense management and financial platforms, ensuring accurate tracking and reconciliation of expenses.

• Collaborate with the People and Finance teams on payroll processing and expense management.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and internal controls.

Requirements

• Third-level qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in an accounting or finance operations role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (FRS 102 experience would be an advantage).

• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., Rillet).

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
